Northshore Education Consortium
The Northshore Education Consortium is the largest provider of intensive special education services to children and youth with emotional, behavioral, and developmental disabilities on the North Shore. Consisting of five highly specialized and innovative programs, NEC's mission is to make a difference in the lives of students and their families on the North Shore. This mission is carried out day in and day out as more than 270 staff educate, support and nurture over 380 special needs and at-risk students.
Ribbon Cutting for the New Outdoor Recreation Space
Kevin O’Grady School staff and students, along with major donors, cut the ribbon for a new outdoor recreation space, which replaced field of weeds at the school in Beverly. Cummings Foundation Grant Award Announcement
The Northshore Education Consortium is one of 100 Boston area organizations to receive a grant of $100,000 from the Cummings Foundation. The grant, which will be paid over five years, will support the development of a space for outdoor exercise and exploration for the Kevin O’Grady School.
