One-to-One Paraprofessional

We are seeking two individuals to work as one-to-one paraprofessionals with a fourth grader and second grader with complex histories and multiple areas of educational and behavioral disability. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience working with children with social/emotional, behavioral, and/or neurological disorders. We are seeking individuals with a baccalaureate degree in education, psychology or related field. Candidates must be effective communicators, familiar with data collection, and be able to participate in behavioral interventions. Certification in NAPPI and First Aid preferred.

- 2 FT paras for classroom (J.Fouser's new group, B.Lynch's old group) of students ages 15-19 with diagnosis of Autism. Must be CPI trained and in good physical condition to work with behavior challenging students as well as implement behavior plans.
- 1 FT paras for classroom (J.Pendexter's new group) of students ages 9-11 with developmental/multiple disabilities. Must be in good physical condition for lifts/transfers. Must be trained in de-escalation procedures and able to implement behavior plans.
- 3 FT paras needed for classroom of students ages 12-15 (3 students) with developmental disabilities and social/emotional and behavioral challenges. Must be able to implement behavior plans. Must be CPI trained and in good physical condition to implement physical interventions. (No teacher has been hired as of yet.)
